One of our visits last weekend was to my cousin's house for the annual cookie bake-o-rama. It was quite the production. I was so sad that all the cookies were made using some kind of milk or butter product... Guess I'll have to get busy making some of my own!

I have a crazy good subsitute for butter wfor many x-mas cookies... coconut oil. Coconut cookies with lots of shredded coconut and no one knows they aren't traditional...
ooh, that sounds so good! Maybe I could make coconut shortbread this year, instead of almond...
